My Journey

My journey started in 2011 in the heart of Portobello Road, where I began creating magical handmade headbands — a simple passion that gradually transformed into Janizuka, formerly known as Crown Ivy — a brand built on creativity and individuality.

For over 15 years, I traded at events and markets across London, connecting with customers face-to-face and discovering what truly inspires them. Over time, this small creative venture evolved into a clearer purpose: to build a brand that reflects my own vision of fashion, beauty, and self-expression. That journey became Janizuka.

I handmake every headband and design many of our other pieces, including knitwear, scarves, and accessories. Each item is crafted with intention, blending artistry with comfort, elegance, and character.

After years of refinement, Janizuka has grown into a women-owned fashion brand dedicated to creating pieces that feel unique, empowering, and expressive pieces that help you embrace your own individuality.
