My journey started in 2011 in the heart of Portobello Road, where I began creating magical handmade headbands — a simple passion that gradually transformed into Janizuka, formerly known as Crown Ivy — a brand built on creativity and individuality.For over 15 years, I traded at events and markets across London, connecting with customers face-to-face and discovering what truly inspires them. Over time, this small creative venture evolved into a clearer purpose: to build a brand that reflects my own vision of fashion, beauty, and self-expression. That journey became Janizuka.I handmake every headband and design many of our other pieces, including knitwear, scarves, and accessories.
